For supply catalogs Kitchen Krafts and Sweet Celebrations offer free catalogs. You can go on line to either place and ask for them. Both come out with catalogs seasonally and usually display on line as well. For party items with some items that you can use on cakes Party Express/Celebrations Express offers a free catalog. Good luck in your search. Hope this can give you a start.

Are you looking for free supply catalogs? Or are you looking for ones that you can have customers look at to get ideas from?

For supply the above ones are the ones i was going to mention.

For the customers to look at... I would post on Freecycle or a similiar website what you are looking for. You just never know.

I like Modern Baking magazine. It's a free industry magazine that offer information about tips, trends, recipes, etc. It's not just for cakes but for all baking. If you're looking for something to dispay in your store (and make you look professional) this may be it. If you're looking for a handout for your customers, then this may not be what you had in mind.

I just read my Mailbox News from American Cake Decorating and they had this to say:

Get a Free Taste of MBN and ACD
Attention cake decorators! It's no secret, we have mini-magazine samples to give away at cake-decorating classes, days of sharing, events, and to cake decorators that have yet to subscribe.

Do you teach a cake-decorating class? Expose your students to the wealth of cake-decorating projects and ideas that can be found in American Cake Decorating and Mailbox News magazines.

Do you have a Day of Sharing coming up? Spread the inspiration to all the attendees with our Mini Magazines. Because they are not full-sized sample issues of the magazine, these make perfect hand-outs for everyone.

Have you not yet subscribed to American Cake Decorating and Mailbox News? Not sure if the magazines are right for you? Get your FREE taste today to sample the amazing content of both magazines.

Our Mini Magazine is just that: a condensed version of both magazines in one. The ACD side features a sample project, while the MBN side features just a bit of inspiration. Remember, this is just of taste of what you will receive by subscribing to both magazines.

For more information about our Mini Magazine, or to request your free copies, please visit our website.

Sounds like what you were asking about!
