Other sections that are great to check out are the stamps and stencils. You can use the stencils with the spray mists or airbrush. The stamps can be used to make patterns on the cake. You can fill in those patterns, leave them as imprints or brush some color on the stamp and use it that way.

That would also make a cool cake. Make the blocks out of cake and cover in fondant, and then pipe figure the stork and everything else onto the cake sides.

That's exactly what I was thinking too m0use. The part where it shows you how to cover the blocks in clay...just make it cake and fondant. I was thinking too that you could mold the stuff on the sides using fondant/candy clay and the push molds.

That would be cool to use as well.

I knew people would like the lessons... But unlike polymer clay fondant warms up and gets sticky the more you play with it and it seems a little harder to smooth the spots where it is connected. So keep 10x around in a little bowl to help keep the fondant from sticking to you. I just love the santa baby ...
( http://www.polymerclaycentral.com/xmasbaby.html ) Just put different clothes on him and we are all making adorable babies... most of your fondant tools are a big help with the Fondant or sculpy but a toothpick can be a beat friend if you do not have tools. Enjoy!

I learned years ago how polymerclay and clay instuction books can keep 5 kids quiet and busy for hours.. so while your baking give them the clay to play with...

That Santa baby is sooo cute! I see lots of possibilities with that one. How cute a little baby like that would be on top of a baby shower cake.
