I used the Wilton bunny mold to make some MMF bunnies. It was from a cake in one of the yearbooks. I think they turned out pretty good, I just had to grease the mold slightly. I tried first with just powdered sugar thumbsdown.gif yeah right, should have known better! I'm sure you could mold marzipan or gumpaste or anything else.

I have used fondant in a heart shaped mold. I dusted the mold with corn starch and turned the mold unside down and taped them out. It worked great.

I have used candy molds with fondant.. I just pushed them in ad poped them out, then let them air dry.

That is how I did the shells on my beach cake

Hope that helps! icon_smile.gif

Do you color your fondant first, or do you use a petal/luster dust on them after you've molded them and they've dried?

I color them and then add any dusts afterwards

Can you use rolled buttercream in molds, too?

I do all the time, it is just a bit softer, so it can be tricky to get it out of the mold, it works better if the object is bigger
