Hope this helps.

Hi Doudoun,

Welcome to Cakecentral!!! There are a few members here from Germany,England which might be able to help you with products but I think most of them buy from the USA. Most online sites will ship to you internationally but shipping is always a big expense! Try Countrykitchensa.com....Sugarcraft.com...to name a few but again the darn shipping costs!!

Hi Doudoun!

As you can see I live in Germany. I've tried to find a shop in France but because of my poor French I wasn't sucessful.
But I found a shop here in Germany which ships to France
www.backfun.de
I know it is in German but there are many pictures icon_biggrin.gif and google has a translation tool. Shipping is quite expensive ¤15,95 but if you order a bigger amount.... the price it for packets up to 30 kg. icon_lol.gif

Hi!
I'm in the same time zone icon_biggrin.gif

OK, color is good. How many depends on you. You can mix different colors but you have to have red, blue, yellow, black and brown (I've tried to mix brown but it didn't really work). If you aren't good in mixing colors you have to have more (skin tone, ....).

Then you need tips and bags.

Mmhh detective.gif

What's there in my kitchen? Colors, glucose, egg-white powder, tragacanth, tips, bags, spatulas, pans. Oh I realize I don't have many things, I'll have to order too icon_lol.gif

I think I'm not a big help!

I've forgotten!

To buy books it may be helpful to see what they are about. You can do this at www.amazon.com

Search at the books for cake "decorating" and some of the books allow you to look into them. "Kate's cake decorating" for instance or some books by Debbie Brown.

Egg-white powder is powdered egg whites icon_lol.gif
Meringue powder is the same I but it is not baiser! You can't make it on your own. I use the egg-white powder for royal icing. You can also make it with fresh egg-whites.

I don't have the fondant smoother I use my hands and it works really well.

bonjour! Comment-allez vous?
Same timezone here. My french is not that good - but I know i've seen foodcolouring in french supermarkets.(like le Hypermarche). I allways get my wilton tools on ebay.com (If you search on the french ebay.fr, you'll see the transaction related details in french). There are plenty of people selling the wilton year book - with a lot of examples.

And kitchentools? I just keep extending. I started with a pancake spatula - now I've bought one on the internet. And as for fondant: the mmf recipe on this site is great and the stuff you need is easy available on youre supermarket...

Another place that has cake decorating supplies and ships overseas is www.cakecraftshoppe.com. It is located here in Houston, Texas but ships worldwide.

Je vais bien merci et toi icon_biggrin.gif
There is some coloring in supermarket but it's not like wilton i explain ther is 1 mark and they sell 3 color red/yellow/ grenn that all.
This morning i buy coloring in this site web 26 colors so it's ok for coloring icon_cool.gif
I find in sugarcraft a lot of thing and not expensive and they delivery in france so it's OK now thumbs_up.gif I'm very happy!
Now the problem it's just i must buy at the limit of 22 euros per sending because we have douane and i m gone to pay 19.6% for the material and post when ups gone to delevery me ! but if i buy more than 22 euros i gone to pay a another taxe "douane" it's very limited (the france doesn't want french buy in america "politic" ever and ever) but if i calculate it's will be cheeper to buy in a america than france ! it's to expensive in france with all the taxes.
I gone to see in ebay france i try with search "wilton" but nothing!

Bye bye

Doudoun,

Maybe you could check out www.cake.nl. It's a dutch site - and with a little help you might be able to figure it out. I don't expect shipping from les Pays Bas to France being such a trouble. (and, if you're checking it out: "bakvorm" means cakeform, "kleurstof" means colouring. If you need translation help - please let me know.

Hi, there is a lot of british sites too, that sells cake stuff. I usually order from http://www.apieceofcakethame.co.uk/. It is a bit more expensive than ordering from the USA, but you don't have to pay extra taxes or customs since it is in the EU.

Other places are:

Welcome to CC.

Maybe you want to try:
http://www.tortissimo.de/promotion.asp?id=pop1&lang=en

It´s a German company, but I think they will deliver to France. Tehy also stock Wilton. So if you need something especially from Wilton you can contact them.
