How are the letterings done on these cookies? I thought at first they could be edible images but how did they get it so smooth? Are these some kind of transfers ? Does anyone know where I can get them? So many questions! Help!

I would say these were computer printed on edible paper. Not my specialty so I couldn't help there.

The reason I think they are printed is I hand paint mine and I know how difficult lettering can be with a paint brush. If Wilton has come out with a calligraphy food coloring pen I haven't looked hard enough. These are so perfect. If these are hand painted I quit. icon_wink.gif They are beautiful.

Those are amazing! I feel sure they couldn't be handwritten...too perfect! Be curious to see if anyone figures out how they were done!

It almost looks like some type of rub-on lettering maybe?

Where did you get the pic? Was it on the web or in a magazine?

Somebody posted a similar picture a while back, and I think they said it was done with some sort of printer that actually prints right on the cookie. (Either that or I'm losing my mind, which is very possible, LOL!)

OK, did a quick search and found it, here's a link to the post:

Those are great looking cookies. Just think, you could put the kids names from the birthday party on them and then there'd be no squabbling on someone eating someone elses cookie.

KHalstead,
How do you get your writing on those cookies so perfect? Do you use a stencil?

Beautiful cookies!

"Our sophisticated printing technology allows us to customize each cookie with the names of the couple and the date of the wedding in a delicate script font."

Definitely some kind of edible transfer!
