Here is the one I use. I love it.

1 box cake mix ( I like DH)
1 small box instant pudding mix ( flavor to go with cake mix)
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 cup veg. oil
1/2 cup warm water

Lacie,

I use a cake mix and add as follows.
4 eggs
1c water
3/4 c veg oil
1 box instant pudding
I also like to have eggs and water to room temp.
I don't use the sour cream , but some people
like it some don't. I like this recipe because
it makes the cake more dense and tasty.
Hope that helps.
vicki

I use:
box cake mix (I'm a Pillsbury gal)
3 egg whites
1 whole egg
1/2c oil
1 small box instant pudding (don't use sugar/fat-free varieties)
1 tsp extract of choice (usually vanilla)

Bake at 350 until cake springs back lightly.

This cake comes out a medium density.

Here is the one I use. It makes the cake very moist and heavy.

1 box cake mix
1 small box instant pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
4 egg whites
1/3 cup veg. oil
1/2 cup warm water

The only drawback is when you put it in the pan it is really thick!! Mine doesn't seem to rise all that much and for some reason always sinks a little in the middle so I always have to level it. But it tastes so moist it makes up for it.
