Frozen Buttercream Tranfer...frustrating

Had a cake order last weekend...had everything ready. and one of the last things i put on the cake...or tryed too was the fbct.......does anyone out there know or had the problem of them cracking in half? and how to fix them? i am wondering if because i used small tips....? and...it seemed to soften a minute after i got it out of the freezer...at this point..i am not sure if i am going to be using this method again....

I'm not really sure what your process was but can say, do not remove itfrom thefreezer until you are READY to put it on the cake. You should go from freezer to cake, once you have it on the cake, then you can sorta slow down on removing the paper. But you shouldn't waste to much time between freezer and cake.
