ok im doing a chocolate transfer for my corona cake. how do i get it to bend with the cake???? to i make it flat and when i put it on the cake will it just bend by itself???? or do i try to make it curved to fit the cake?

you could drape it over the bottle as it is cooling so that it will dry the same shape and fit perectly.

i was thinking maybe that but thought the chocolate might run. have you done one before???

I have not but I am sure it can be done. Chocolate sets pretty fast but should stay pliable for a bit. I would let it sit just long enough so it is soft but not runny.

do a test run. Just take some choc and put it on som wax paper and see how it works.

ok thank you so much i am trying to find a lable now. i guess i will have to go to the beer store. and peel on off a bottle then enlarge it. thanks for your advice

thanks i found one last night. but when i printed it out it was all blurry. i dont know what im going to do. i am trying to bring it into focus today. no luck yet maybe i should find a different pic. thanks for the sites i think i looked at those already but am looking at them again.

oh yeah due to time i may end up using bc. i was at teh store today and was thinking.........


would those pre made pre colored icings in a tube work??????? i have a ton of things to do this weekend dotn have alot of tiem to be whipping up alot of icing. i was at micheals and saw they had the exact colors i needed. have you guys ever used them??? do you think they will work???

I really don't know. I don't know how well it freezes or if it would pull away clean from the wax paper. You could experiment...get a few tubes and squeeze a simple design on wax paper, freeze and see what happens.

well on my spiderman i did last weekend we used black on the buildings and we froze them. it froze really well. its the wax paper that worries me. whats the worst that could happen if i try and it doesnt work?? i think i will try it. i will let you guys know how it goes. wish me luck with this as it will be my first bct ever. let alone trying soemthing we arent sure will even work.
