I have seen a few cakes (but can't find any pics right now) with those really elegant crosses. They look like loops of gumpaste that make the different sections of the cross and then they are joined in the middle somehow. Also, they are sometimes brushed with pearl or luster dust. I hope this description is helpful and some one can give me instructions. Thanks so much if you can help at all. icon_smile.gif

Is this the type of cross you're talking about??? It looks to me like what you just said, it's just gumpaste loops....looks to me like they almost just laid the four separate pieces there and then covered up where they're joined with the flower. Doesn't look too difficult, then again I haven't tried so I don't know...maybe you should pm the person that made this!!! Just type in "cross" in the search engine for the gallery and find that pic and ask them
