It looks good. I didn't think it would at first, but looking at it, the way you added in the shells and the greenery into the topper, it looks nice. The shells and coral look great btw, I really like them.

It's stunning. I too make flower and shell cakes. I wouldn't post if I honestly didn't mean the cake looks great.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out! So I started with the topper and worked from there. FH thinks I should to something with the edges. Can't think of what tho.

They are molded chocolate. I used white bakers chocolate and semi-sweet and blended in the molds. I'm pleased at how they turned out.

I like it a lot and think you did a fantastic job on the cake. To me it sets a soft tropical mood, which I like a lot. Love it!

Now this idea would've been perfect for my friend's wedding! She had small bamboo vases with those exact flowers on tables, and was married on the beach.

This is just right for such an occasion...it's "relaxing" too! Some brides need a laid back atmosphere. All of the formalities make it difficult for some to enjoy what's going on.

what a beautiful cake! it makes me want to pack up and head to the beach! and i don't think the edges need anything... it looks great the way it is. i love all the soft colors together, and the splash of pink on top is great. awesome job!

Beautiful! I agree, nothing with the edges. It would clutter it up. It is just perfect as it is! Jen
