Can anyone tell me what the shelf life is on food paste?
I didn't see a date on the bottle or box.

Are you talking about paste colouring? I don't think there is a shelf life on it. Just be careful that you dont get any little bit of icing in the pots of colour that could go rancid on you.

Yes, the paste coloring. I have a few jars that look like the oil & coloring are seprating.

Have you tried to stir the colour back together? I haven't had this problem with mine yet. By the way, I think they use glycerine and not oil, because they are safe to use in royal icing.
