keep the paper cups clean?

My muffin pans are not greasy and are non-stick, have tried different types of cups and the same results occur, that greasy look on the outside of the cups.

They look so bad, that I can't even try doing a cupcake cake icon_cry.gif

Too much oil in the mix? Perhaps yopu could try swaping the oil for applesauce and see if that helps?

I also have not had this problem. Are you using a mix or a from-scratch recipe?

Use the ones that look like tinfoil. You know the shiny ones and this won't happen. Have you ever heard of cupcake cuddlers? These are cute and go on after baking. They are paper but fancy. Her website is down. But you can get an idea by going to [email protected]. If you have any trouble or questions let me know. I think she will send you a pack. Also, tomorrow I am going to be at a cake dec store and she has some. If you are desperate I can have her mail them to you. Do you fill your cupcakes too? Let me know if I can help.

I have the dark metal pans from QVC; Cook's Essentials brand.

That seems to happen to me when I make cupcakes too. I didn't know anyone else had the same issue. This doesn't seem to happen when I make muffins in the paper cups. I'll keep an eye on this and see if anyone has a solution.

Never heard of the cuddlers but it sounds interesting.

When I did the Spongebob cupcakes, I was so embrassed that I pushed them together to try and hide them as much as possible.

Will try using the shiny ones and see what happens. If this doesn't work, then I will look into the cuddlers.

Thanks.
