I have a bride that wants a crystal monogram for her topper. I know there is a post about this, but the one that's in that post, isn't the one that I need to make. Here's a pic of it. Please give thoughts and suggestions on how to make it if possible. I can get the crystals no problem. What do you think they glued the crystals to and put it on to stick to the cake?

TIA,
Suz

This caught my eye because I have to make three toppers for next weekend. I was going to use beads but this one is beautiful.

Is it possible to buy crystals already attached to a bendible wire? I cannot see to what or if these crystals are even glued!! I then was wondering was this "M" made of two pieces of, lets say, wire and they came together at the middle and that what was inserted into the tube, stick, straw that was inserted into the cake.....does this even make sense.......

I hope someone has some ideas.......I would love to be able to make one of these.

Wish I was more help.........I will do some research and see what I can come up with. Please keep us posted on your progress.........

Well, they use the flat back Swarovski crystals, so there has to be something back there!!! LOL! I'm thinking it might be thick wire and they are glued on.

Thanks for the link, I will check it out now.
