Does the flavor of the alcohol stay when you use it for the luster dust?

It depends on what type of alcohol you're using. If you use pure vanilla, it will blend well with your cake. Vodka works well, but some people have told me it leaves a bad aftertaste. I've used lemon juice, also, but the taste is strong. I guess it will depend on how much surface area you'll be covering.

Thanks! I think I will stick to vanilla. I know some recovering alcoholics and don't want to inhibit them in any way.
