I am doing a small 6in cake for my little sister who will be 14 soon. We are doing a family birthday since we will all be together in a few weeks for the only time for a few months. I can't come up with any ideas. I know she is into Punk Rock & is not really a girly girl. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

(Background - I am adopted and have only known my sister for 6 months. Hence why I cant think of anything.)

How about making a small electric guitar out of MMF and have that be your cake topper on top (sticking strait up) of the cake that is iced in her favorite color. For the border I would make one of those spike chokers out of MMF and put it around the bottom of the cake. For the colors I think I would do a red guitar with a black neck, have the icing on the cake white, and do the black spike collar around the bottom.

Maybee some kinda animal print on a cake.. I know puck rock kids like zebra stripes, leperd print...

I think a cell phone cake or a purse cake with make-up would make any teenager happy!

I love the idea of the spike collar! She would get a kick out of that. Thank you for the ideas. I can always count on CC when I am stumped.

How about a zebra patern cake

but on the top make a LP record to cover the top out of Black fondant
( fav. band?) and on top of the record put little fondant people slam dancing or moshing.... one could have a mohawk, leather, ripped T's, safty pins in ears... you get the idea.
