The world's largest cake was constructed in Las Vegas in 2005 to celebrate the city's centennial. The seven-layer cake was 102-feet long, weighed 130,000 pounds, and contained 23 million calories.

Here's another fact for you I read the other day.

Did you know that when Prince Charles in the UK married Camilla Parker Bowles their wedding cake weighed 7 Stone!!!

It contained 383 lb fruit
139 lb flour
139 lb sugar
1080 eggs
36 bottles of alcohol
and took 220 lbs of marzipan and another 220 lbs sugarpaste to coat it!
It took 3 days to hand mix and bake the cakes and it was decorated in a methodist church.

Along with that huge cake the cake bakers/decorators had to make 2,500 slices of additional cake for special commemorative tins.

All I can say is "WOW".

Wowee!!!!! What a cake!!!!!!!!!!! And, what a price, too!!!!!
