I was thinking of donating cookies to a school for a fundraiser and I was wondering if shrink wrap would melt the designs of the cookies. I use royal icing and it hardens but will it melt if using a heat gun/blow dryer to shrink wrap??

If you're using RI the heat gun/blowdryer will absolutely not melt the icing/designs on your cookies.

I would love to know more about this! If you try it, can you post your results? I've never used shrink wrap but I make alot of cookies- it would be great for shipping and boxing for gifts if it worked well.

The only place I can remember listed was www.Papermart.com I want to order some but they only sell in big quantities... I also bought a small heat gun at Joanns (used a 40% off coupon from their mailer) and only paid like 14 bucks for it. If I get bags soon, I'll let you know how it works!!

If you would be willing to share them with me I would much appreciate the instructions! I have been shipping a lot of cookies and this would be a great option I think.
