Hello everyone, I am new to this website and I absolutely LOVE it so far. I have gotten so many ideas and everyone is so talented. I do have one question so far,
How do I get my cake table top smooth with BC?? I haven't figured that out yet. I appreciate any tips. Thanks,
Stephanie

I use a hot spatula to get it as smooth as I can and then I use a Viva paper towel to finish it up. However, if you look in the articles section you will find an upside down icing method which works very well, I just don't have the patience for all the refridgerating or freezing in between steps.

I use Viva paper towels. Here's the article. I just use a regular spatula though.

I use a bench scraper for the sides and an angled spatula for the top..

I wait until the bc has just started to crust and then use a Viva papertowel.

Just try them all...paper towel, hot spatula, upside down and see what works best for you.

good Luck!!
