Hi guys!

I'm thinking of doing a dummy wedding cake for a display. My questions is if I cover the styrofoam dummies with fondant, is it necessary to put buttercream under the fondant or is using piping gel ok to make it stick. I have never done one before, so any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Piping gel is fine. It will hold up alot better in the long run. I've even had to use water a couple a time late at night when my gel ran out, that worked fine too. Good luck and lets see the pics after.
