I'ld like to make a decorated cheesecake and was looking for recipes, ideas and decorating tips. Thanks in advance for all your help.

I've done two decorated cheesecakes. I made a brownie bottom cheesecake and then did a wilton chocolate buttercream to decorate it. I did chill the cheesecake before frosting. I frosted the entire cheesecake just like you would any other cake and then I did a basket weave around the sides. I drizzled melted white and dark chocolate across the top and then finshed up with a reverse shell border around the top and bottom of the cake. Turned out really pretty!
This is the recipe I used. I think you could use your favorite cheesecake recipe

Not that I have every tried anything like this, but here's a website I bookmarked. Everything is cheesecake. Something to strive for, I guess.
