You could try the wacky cake recipe http://cake.allrecipes.com/az/WackyCakeVIII.asp if its chocolate...it bakes up just as good as regular cake and tastes about as good too!

I often have the same problem, I have used beaters several times without any issues

no yolks about it ...yes...it's like making eggs w/ just the whites (don't let the color fool you, it's faked)

those on low-fat diets do this all the time.

Egg Beaters might have a site. Go there to find out or read what it says on the carton. If not go to Whacky Cakes or just do a quick search for eggless cakes

eggbeaters are made from the whites of eggs. it's real egg.
so don't need to do "egg-less" anything.

they just remove the yolk and therefore most of the fat.

anyone who bakes a true white cake does this all the time (it calls for only the whites of the egg)

If only there were wacky cake recipes that used stone ground whole wheat flour and no real sugar, but tasted just as deeply dark and fudgy as chocolate cakes laden with eggs and sugar. *Sigh*
