Its been 3 weeks since I took the Food Service Sanitation class to get licensed to sell food--cakes. I just checked the testing sponsor's website and found out I passed!!! I'm so happy...I just had to share Now when will I start selling, I don't know because I have to use a licensed kitchen. Guess I'll be checking church kitchens and other sites! I'm just smiling ear to ear. I passed....YAAAAAY!

FatandHappy, no it wasn't that hard as long as you paid attention to the lecture and read the book.

WebDiva, I'm in Montgomery County. I had contacted the local health department and they told me this class was necessary to get licensed. I took the class at the local college. There were several different class schedules offered; one, two, six sessions; I chose the six sessions and boy am I glad because I don't think I could have taken in all that information in such a short time especially since I also work FT.

Congrats!!! I, too, passed my food safety manager's course. Took 3 weeks to get notified. But I'm right behind you looking for a kitchen. Have several options, just have to follow up. Good luck in finding yours--Pam
