please keep in mind i have never used shrink wrap before, so sorry if this seems like a silly question.
i am thinking of buying a rolls of shrink film, if it'll work.
i want to know if you can shrink wrap chocolates.. will the heat gun just melt the chocolate??? i use realy chocolate, so i can't have it go too much out of tempature, or it'll cause my chocolate to bloom.
thanks
can you suggest a film gauge?
Bump!
I'm wondering if you could do a test. If you have good shrink wrap and a good hair dryer, it should shrink right away w/o too much effort. I've used shrink wrap before when I worked at a computer store. Sometimes it would take awhile to shrink wrap something becuase we used a cheap little hairdryer.
chocolate needs to breath so it does not lose it's sheen. That makes it look old. We wrap our chocolates in cello but maybe someone else has a suggestion. When my mom and I used to do chocolates for Easter we stored them in tupperware containers and by Easter they were not shiny anymore. Not sure what you are making and why you would want to shrink wrap it but maybe if you tell me, I suggest something.
