There are some of the most beautiful cakes posted today, holy cow!! I am not posting anything of my own ever! Great job everyone, I am in awe what can be done with cake and the sugars (fondant/gumpaste, etc.)

That's how I feel sometimes! BUT... definitely check out the discussion where people have posted their WORST cakes. (I posted one of mine there). Everyone has their bad days, and are now creating beautiful works of art!

Zamode......I know its very very easy to get intimidated........BUT I have an idea for you!!! Go to the general forum and open "Post your WORST cakes here"......look at some of them and then look in their galleries....you will see how far so many have come!!! It gives you great confidence to see that even the really good cakes have bad days!!!

Thanks ladies--the family atmosphere and helpfulness is part of what makes this site so great along with all the info. Just feeling discouraged today but I did read the Worst Cakes thread--hysterical! *Maybe* I will post my daughter's birthday cake.......but not right now!
