How long do I have to wait after baking my cookies to decorate them? I was wondering IF I am done baking them by 11 can I start to decorate at like 5 in the afternoon?...Also how long do I have to wait so I can put them in bags?? Sorry so many questions..Thanks for all the help~Melissa

If you are talking wait from the oven, just until they are cool.

If you are talking after the base coat is on, then let in set from 30 mins for a soft set, to 4 hours for a medium set, to 8 hours for a firm hard set.

If you choose less time, then be sure not to touch it or it will smudge and not smooth back out. Also, if you mess up you can not jsut wipe it off unless it is completely hard (like 8-12 hours)

O yeah, you can as little as a half an hour, if they are cooled off.
