Has anyone ordered from Pfiel & Holing before? I ordered some supplies from them last month, and I'm not sure what to do. This really isn't a big deal, it just left me a little confused and miffed. First of all, there's a $50 minimum order, so when you order, if you don't order $50 worth of stuff, then when you go to checkout, it automatically charges you $50, so basically, you've got to go back and add more stuff whether you need it or not since you're paying for it anyway. Secondly, to fill my order to the $50 minimum, I put 5 different Americolors in my basket to try, since I've heard so many great reviews on them. I got my order pretty quick, so that was great. But in going through my new stuff, I realized I didn't have 2 of my Americolors. No note, no email, nothing to say it was out of stock and not being shipped. So I email the company and ask about it. They said those two colors are out of stock and I should just put them on my next order because they won't be back in stock until the 2nd week of March. I emailed back requesting that they just ship those two colors to me when they're back in stock, since I won't need to be ordering anything else in the near future. I haven't heard back from them since. I emailed again today to inquire if they were in stock yet and haven't heard back. Anyone else had any problems with this company? I know it doesn't amount to much (like $2.50, I think), but it's just the principle of it, that I've already paid for it, plus shipping, and they act like, oh well, it's out of stock, no refund offered or anything, just reorder it later and pay again. Am I out of line to be peeved or overreacting here?

Try doing a search for their name and/or website www.cakedeco.com. I know I've seen some comments in the past on them.

That's just wrong, even if it is only a couple bucks.

I bet if you sent a letter saying you were going to contact the BBB you'd get those colors right away.

I order online frequently and if an item is out of stock, the don't charge you until it is shipped.

Best of luck.

I've also ordered from them multiple times and never had a problem. I think I'd keep calling them until I got a satisfactory answer. I understand about the $50.00 minimum, but you had that and paid for that so they owe you the colors or a refund, even if it is small.

i order from the all the time. there is a 50.00 minimum, however when you check out it will say 50.00 even if you didnt order 50.00 you are not charges 50.00 instead you are charged for what you bought and a 5.00 fee
as far as the note, you will recieve in a few days a invoice with your items and total there will also be a out of stock section and you will see your total charged.
