I see all these beautiful stacked cakes with seashells and always wonder...do people use chocolate molds for the seashells or are they hand-sculpted? Anybody?

I used chocolate molds to make mine. I've used the molds to make them out of chocolate and out of fondant.

I think most are chocolat molds, but a few are hand sculpted. With the chocolate molds you can still get alot of color varriations and you can still use them to mold fondant ...

I use silcone molds to do them. Mine are usually in fondant though. icon_smile.gif
