I was looking for some easy flowers to make? I have just started wilton 1 and I would like to practice doing the cakes but I want to decorate them and give them away, so I need some easy decorating ideas.

drop flowers are quick and easy...

yep......drop flowers are about as easy as they come.......get the right tip, squeeze and there you go.....instant flower

if you want to practice with royal icing, they aren't too hard and you can make them ahead, then when you want to put some flowers on, ta dah, you've got them

Thanks for the tips...what kind of tip would you use for a drop flower? I sthere instructions somewhere? (unless they are too easy for instructions even )

What is the difference between buttercream and royal icing? Do you recommend a good recipe for royal icing?

I LOVE sweet peas. Put a couple of vines, secondary vines, pipe some small drop flowers, sweet peas and leaves. WHOALA!
