Hi All,
This is my first attempt at a white chocolate crown/tiara. It is totally inspired by MelC's version. I borrowed the pattern she posted and this is how mine turned out. I taped the pattern and wax paper onto the side of a Crisco can. Then just piped with tip #3 over the pattern using melted almond bark. ( I think candy melts would work too.) I only piped over the pattern one time so the design is very thin and very fragile.
A few small curlies broke off when I picked it up so when I do it again, I will overpipe at least twice for more durability. It is painted it with pearl luster dust. And I made some earrings, a bracelet and broach too but I was excited to come show everyone so here it is. I didn't have any real reason to make it today but I wanted to give it a try.
Thanks for looking!

Wow, that is lovely, I'm going to have to try this sometime, you had no dripping or lifting when it dried ? I ask this because I did a chocolate transfer and it lifted and curled a little on me when it dried.
WOW! Very pretty. Did you have any trouble with the melted chocolate dripping down the side of the crisco can? That would be my worry, & ruining the whole thing.
That turned out great! Mine was so tiny that a lot of the details were lost so it's really nice to see the pattern done on a larger scale!
very pretty.. arent they fun? i got addicted when i did mine and would LOVE to do little ones on a soup can for cupcakes..
I did one with royal icing and it turned out pretty good. I'm not good with chocolate lol
Thank you !!
No trouble with it dripping or lifting when I took it off the wax paper. I was very afraid of it cracking but I just went slow. The almond bark sets quite fast so maybe that helped.
And it didn't drip down the side of the Crisco can at all. It was quite thick actually so maybe that's why. It stayed right in place where it was piped on. Maybe that's the difference from using candy melts and almond bark.
Now I want to do more...
