I made this for the first time today,turned out great!How do i store it?Does it need to be refrigerated?I'm icing a cake for tomorrow pick up, so does the cake need to be put in the fridge too?The recipe didn't say.Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Which recipe?
There are two. I think either would be fine for a day or two.

I used the one with butter, crisco, boiling water,salt,vanilla and conf. sugar.It has the same makeup as the regular buttercream so I would think you could leave it out on the counter?

Yes, that one can be left out for a while.

i usually leave it out if it's jsut for a day or two, if it;s a little longer i put it in the fridge, and if it's a lot longer, i put it in the freezer
