Okay, I've now made the Wilton recipe for fondant and MMF. The MMF seemed to have a matte finish, while the Wilton had a really nice sheen. Any way to get the MMF to have that same sheen?

I roll my MMF between two sheets of really heavy plastic (bought at the fabric store). It comes out with a really nice satiny sheen. Not patent-leather looking...just smooth. However....when you're transferring it to the cake, the more it stretches during the application, the less of a sheen it has.

and if you get a metal fondant smoother.........they make it super smooth and have a great sheen when you're finished
