Hi, I want to make a pizza cake. I found a great picture of a pizza cake in gallery section, it is picture number 74. I am interested in knowing what techniques are used to make the items on the pizza.

Thankyou.

If you know who made the cake, you could pm them..........I'm sure they would be more than happy to give instructions, everyone on here is REALLY helpful and nice........welcome to Cake Central......oh also, if you can point me to who's cake it is....maybe I can help you decipher what it may have been made out of!!!

hmmmmmm......tirby's cake has the directions right on there............two 14' rounds.....covered in marshmallow fondant (recipe in the recipes section on cake central) and the decorations (toppings) were made out of the same thing!

I haven't seen the one you are talking about, but I have seen some other ones.

The ones I have seen have used strawberry or raspberry preserves as the pizza sauce. Wilton makes a hamburger and pizza candy mold, and I have seen those used for the pizza toppings. And grated white chocolate for cheese.
