How Do I Decorate Molded Sugar?

Hi everyone!
I was playing around with my chocolate molds and made a Teddy Bear Sugar mold. However, I don't know how to decorate it. I need help!!! icon_smile.gif Are there specific ways to decorate it? Certain technics?

That teddy is so cute! But I can't help with the decorating...sorry....
Did you make the actual "mold" too?

aw how cute!!! I have seen people decorate them with royal icing. Thats about all I know other than I am sure you could use gumpaste things also.

We used to get sugar eggs and chickens and crosses in our baskets every Easter. They were made with molds and were hollow & filled with little candies or chocolates. I was always disappointed at how hard the little things were though! Made it very difficult to eat the entire thing, as I usually wanted to do...lol. icon_razz.gif These were always elaborately decorated with royal icing in either very bright or pastel colors. Just beautiful! I say try some royal icing and see how it goes!
