The wedding is April 1st, so as soon as I can get them.

I have the pan set but Wilton has discontinued the separator plates.

I work at a cake supply store and when we saw that Wilton was discontinuing those plates the owner bought a few of them just so we would have them when others wouldn't. I can check tomorrow and see if she still has some and what sizes she has if you would like. We usually don't do mail order, but she has done it on occasion when we had some customers that lived far away and needed something specific. I'll let you know tomorrow evening.

If you can't find the plates...you could do a tiered cake with no separations. Cut the cardboard hexes from the cardboard rounds.....dowel and tier. Could also have satellite cakes on covered boards. I'm going to use some glass bricks for elevating my satellite cakes...along with white lights and tulle.

i am looking for hexagon separator plates too--anyone know where to look

I just bought the hexagon set and am wondering if using foam core would work for a base for it? Maybe glueing that on a smaller square plate that can be used with the extenders? Has anyone tried this?

Maybe I'm silly. I always purchase the round plates. I use round plates for all shapes. No one is going to see it.

Use a round plate and a hex cardboard.  Really it will be fine.
