Help! Directions For Making Armadillo Cake Asap!

Hi, I just got a call from the local FFA and they need an armadillo cake on thursday! I've done a fish and a purse, and a couple of other shaped things, but I really need some help from you guys on this. has anyone seen directions for something like this?

Thanks you guys! Does anyone else have directions. i know I printed some aout a while ago, but now I can't find them. They may have been from ladycakes forum, but now you have to pay to use the site so I can't find them there.

I made one using the football pan, red velvet of course. It's in my pix. Covered it in fondant and molded the head out of fondant also.
