I heard you can make tres leche cake with pankake mix has any one ever heard that if they have or have done tres leche cake with pankake mix can you pleace send it to me my email address is [email protected]

Did you get a reply on this question? I am sorry, but I have never heard of it using a pancake mix. icon_cool.gif Did anyone tell you that you could?

Gloria,

Could you be referring to "poundcake"? This sound like it would work better. I have never made a Tres Leches cake but I would think it would have to be a sponge cake so that it absorbs the milks.

I was taking a an airbrush classes and there was lady who speak spanish and we had to bring in a cake and so she did and it was tres leche and she said it was maid by pancake mix but she put other stuff in we were all like really it was was really good because she gave everybody a piece she gave us the recipe but I lost it so thought somebody has done with pancake mix so they could give me the recipe.

Yo he escuchado también que hay personas que usan el pancake mix para hacer bizcochos, pero lamentablemente no tengo esa receta.

Yo encontre esta receta en el internet yo imagino que despues de hacer el coffee cake se le hecha la mescla de las tres leches. Espero que sea lo que busca. Si nesecitan la receta en español dejenmelo saber. icon_biggrin.gif

I found this recepie on the internet I think that after you bake the cake just add the 3 leches mix to it. Hope this is what you were looking for. icon_biggrin.gif

Aunt Jemina Old Fashioned Coffee Cake

3 cups Aunt Jemima icon_eek.gif ® Original or Buttermilk Original Pancake & Waffle Mix
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
3/4 cup milk
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray 9"x 13" baking pan with nonfat cooking
spray. Combine pancake mix and sugar in large bowl; mix well. In medium bowl, combine sour cream,
milk, oil, egg and vanilla with wire whisk; add to dry ingredients.
Mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Batter will be thick.
Spread evenly into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm. Yield: 15 servings

Variation: To use Aunt Jemima® Complete or Buttermilk Complete Pancake
& Waffle Mix, decrease vegetable oil in coffee cake to 1 Tbsp. and
proceed as recipe directs.

Old Fashioned Blueberry Coffee Cake: Add 1 cup fresh or frozen
blueberries to cake batter. Stir just until blueberries are
incorporated. Proceed as recipe directs.
