Ok, I splurged and bought this for myself for a birthday present. With it I got a little booklet/instruction manual that has SOME recipies in it. Does anyone have any other ideas for this pan? Has anyone tried it yet? Did you experience any problems with it?

Hubby is pushing for me to make a cake this weekend. I guess my biggest concern is the type of filling I should use. Just a basic filling recipe (tried and true) that I could flavor as I please.

You probably could do two different cake flavors instead of filling or ice cream.

Let me know if this works for you..I'm thinking of buying one of these!!!

Just read these postings. My husband bought this pan to surprise me. Just used it the first time for my daughter's 30th birthday. Made chocolate cake with a cherry cordial ice cream filling. It was quite a hit and very tasty. The next time I wanted to make something that would save on some calories so I filled it with Cool Whip and used a thin coat of buttercream on the outside!!
