I have made 5 scratch recipes in the last few weeks and I found what I like well mostly.

Now, I am trying out hi-ratio shortening and he doesn't want to be my taste tester any more.

It's ok. I think I am going to take my cakes to my hair dresser. I know her pals there will eat it up.

That's ok, my fiancé is diabetic. He will only 'sniff' my cakes, I have to give all of mine to my mother, but my dad is on a diet, so she has to take them to work with her.

yes hubby said the same thing even my kids will not eat the cake, so i take them to work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My hubby says no more cake, but the real problem is when I make it he knows he'll eat it, and he doesn't want to eat it! There's always this discussion that follows about what to do with it, he'll suggest giving it away, but then before I can he's already dove in. Silly guy!

I've been taking my wilton practice cakes to my son's pre-school .... they've learned the days of the week very well now ... they know that mondays I go to my wilton classes it's funny but when the kids see me walk in with nothing in my hands they are terribly dissapointed.... I want to send more advertising freebies to my hubby's job.... but the guilt I feel when I see their little faces waiting for something won't let me....lol
