I asked my daughter what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday and the reply was "Westlife", I asked here about ideas and have half toyed with the idea of doing a stage with four little moulded men in black suits and the westlife name at the back, but....
We're taking her to California on holidays at Easter, she doesn't know it yet and we're giving her Disney passes, holiday clothes etc. for her Birthday as her surprise. What I'd like to do is a Castle Cake.... to represent the Disney part of the holiday.
Do you think anl 11 year old who I know will be thrilled with the holiday (has always wanted to go) will be disappointed that her cake is a castle and not a westlife cake?
I bet she'll be so trhilled with the trip AND the cake, she'll forget she even requested the Westlife cake. Have a safe and fun trip!
I agree with the pp. Do the theme for everything and go for the gusto! I think she'll be thrilled!!!!
If you wanted to, why not incorporate the two. Have Westlife playing in front of the castle.
Just an idea,
Heather
I think the castle cake would only add to the fantastic memory you will be giving her. How exciting! This will be one of her fondest and most wonderful childhood memories. I vote for the castle cake.
The cake will build anticipation until departure day. WOW!
You can always make her a second cake later on. She will cherish this one forever! GREAT IDEA!
