How long does royal icing stay good. In other words, if I made it today do you think it would still be good in April? There is really nothing in there that is going to go bad, right? icon_confused.gif

I have a craft fair in the beginning of April and I want to start baking now. How do you guys make out when freezing your cookies? My DH says that I should not freeze them, but make them fresh. Did I also mention that I have to make about 10 cookie bouquets (6 cookies in each) for my MIL 60th Birthday in March as well as make cookies to sell in my friends store before the craft show icon_eek.gif!!!!!!! TIA

I would not make royal now to use in April. However, you can bake and ice the cookies and freeze them. If they are well packaged, not just some plastic wrap, they will be good as new when you thaw them.
