would it be possible to do colorflows of the 4 guys on the cover that you posted? It's mostly black so I would think it wouldn't be too hard. You could do a tiered cake to look like a stage and have them posed to sing...maybe have a verse/chorus line of her favorite song scribed on the side of the cake.

Thanks Tanyap, was thinking about it last night and trying to decide whether or not I could chance modelling them out of fondant, never thought of doing a two tier stage though, thats a great idea.

We're going to our 8th Westlife Concert in a few weeks, I should know by now what the general stage set up looks like, lol.

I might do an 8" and 6" round cake, put half the 6" on its edge and make it the backdrop, have them dancing to the front, well maybe dancing is a bit ambitious, lol, standing to the front. Do the cake in the amber colours and the accents in black.

Thanks

I went to a party several months ago. Since the cake decorator didn't have much notice for the cake, she cut a pic out of a mag or something and laminated it. Then put it directly on the cake, did a border around it and fru-frued the cake up a bit with icing. Just an idea is she's dead set on a real person-type cake.
