I just had to share my good fortune that happened today. First let me back track to a week ago. I kept seeing the ad on tv for this local baking store. It advertises that it has everything for the baker. Well we had gone to it a couple of times but it was never open when we were in the area. Well a week ago we were again in the area and desided to see if it was open and check out what they had. I was walking around the store wishing I had the money to get all the great things in there and DH asked if that was our neighbor over there. Well it was her. We knew she had a small shop but did not know what kind. We started to talk to her and I was telling here about my new found calling (cake decorating). She was telling us that she went to culinary school and did baking for a while but decided to open a shop for the home baker. She said that she had a lot of stuff at home that she no longer need and she would give them to me. She was glad to know that they would go to someone who would enjoy them. Well she just stopped by with a big bag of supplies for me. Here is a list of what she gave me so far. 10 wilton yearbooks, some books on cake carving and figure piping. impression mats, stencils, molds. And my favorite The Professional Pastry Chef book. She also told me she has boxes of pans to give me and more books. Im jumping for joy. I love my neighbors
