I was wondering what tip I should use to do cupcakes...I don't want to do nothing fancy just the little swirl thingy...I don't have a 1m tip so I wasn't sure....And if anyone has any pictures for a pre-school cupcake that would be great..I just wanted to try out some colors that y i made them
The biggest star tip in your box will work, I think I have used an 18 with good results. Primary colors are always a big hit with pre schoolers.
I use tip 2D, th one normally used for drop flowers. It seems to work fine for me. You can check out my cupcakes in my gallery pics to see how they come out.
Another thing you can do with a regular star tip is to zigzag on top of the cupcakes instead of swirl, this looks really nice, I saw it done by someone on this site recently.
I agree that the larger the star tip the easier it is to get the swirls. I use a tip 21 I think.
I also wanted to say that someone suggested primary colors, just becareful because the coloring will stain clothing. I know I have 3 toddlers. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that incase you didn't think about it.
One thing that I have done with cupcakes is to make candies in the the candy molds and place them on top of the cupcakes, kids love that they get candy and cake.
