I finally made it over there today. I mostly stocked up on cake boards but did also get some candy/chocolate molds, couplers (I lose them in the dishwasher & garbage disposal a lot icon_mad.gif ) and some parchment paper. There were a few other things I was eyeballing, like the square pan set and cake stands, but I decided to wait and see how hubby reacts to today's spending first. icon_razz.gif I only spent $40, but I spent quite a bit at Kohl's yesterday. icon_wink.gif Hey, a girl's gotta have some new shoes once in a while, right??

I wanted to go Monday, but didn't get there until late Tuesday, just 15 minutes before close. Had to go super quick and only spent $18 or so. I really do want to go back and do some more damage, but not sure I'll make it! The sale is good through Sat.

Wow that was a good sale. My husband took me this morning and spoiled me a little icon_wink.gif I got some cool things... but now that I've been home thinking, I remember what I need and didn't get! Oh well, like some of you said, I'll wait for Michaels to run that 40 - 50% off coupon. I really want the wilton 6 tier cake stand... Hobby Lobby didn't have any today... icon_sad.gif

Lets see tonight was my 4th thrip to HL for wilton stuff.. The cashier had checked me out the other times and he kindly reminded me today was the last day for the sale.. and he said ,"You sure you got everything?" I was ROTFL... Ok so I went a little over board but hey how often do you get to go on a 1/2 price wilton shopping spree... Come on HL let's get new stuff in and give us another 1/2 off .... SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!

My 2nd shopping trip to HL and they were cleaned out. I grabbed one of their sale flyers and went over to Michaels and talked to the manager and they said they they would honor the 1/2 sale since I had HL ad with me! WooHoo. So, I got to have some more fun at Michaels!

Myhusband's friend, who is the asst mnger at HL came by Friday night and told me that we could ask for rainchecks on anything they did not have and they would honor the 1/2 sale. icon_smile.gif

You know when they run these sales you can ask for rain checks on the items they are sold out of.... Our Hobby Lobby allows us to... So may keep that in mind.... Happy Shopping icon_wink.gif

The Wilton Tent Sale is an annual sale that Wilton has by their headquarters in Woodridge, IL. They have everything from cake decorating supplies, candy making supplies, photo frames, pots and pans, barbecue supplies, knives, etc. For the cake decorating supplies, it's just about Wilton's entire line of products and EVERYTHING at the sale is 50%-75% off!! It runs for about 2 weeks and during the last couple of days they mark their stuff even further off and on the last day they usually will mark evyerthing another 33% off. There's not that much leftover then though.

haha...can you tell I go about every couple of days?!! lol
