Oh no!!! it would be perfect, you wouldnt have to worry about trying to cut each piece.. You can decorate the cupcake tree (if cardboard) with some self adhesive paper that looks like wooden floors.. ( I've seen them at the local dollar general store. it's purpose is to line your drawers) And just make the top of the cupcake look like basketballs..
