I need a 6 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch square pan.. I have looked at wiltons set and they are not the size I need . Does anyone know where I can find a set that is not OUTRAGEOUSLY priced and has reasonable shipping charges. I would rather have the straight sided ones like the magic line brand..

Thanks a bunch

Jennifer

Just a warning, if you go with the Chicago Metallurgic pans, they are advertised as true straights, well the corners are straight and they are great pans but the pans flare from bottom to top so you won't like that.
I have a feeling that the only ones you are going to like will likely be Magic Line.

I wish Wilton made them in their Decorator Preferred, I think they only have one size left in square in that line. I do like their Decorator Preferred for round pans. One make of pan I was not impressed with other than the fact you can get many sizes and shapes in it, is Crown Aluminimum. I found these pans dent easily and the finish is strange, they don't bake up really well, likely the walls of the pans are too thin and they are a bit too shiny to work well.
Haha, I am more help telling people what not to get than what to get.

Jennifer, which country do you live in? I cannot get Magic Line here in Canada, that is why I am asking, but in the U.S. they are more commonly available.

I just bought a set of 4 ( 6,8,10 &12 inch) square (even square sides) pans from a brand called Parrish's. These are great pans. Ebay has them brand new never used straight from distributor. I bought my set for $45 plus $15 shipping. These will never rust and last forever. I have magic line pans and parrish's pans and except for the brand name, you would never see a difference. I can give you the web address for this distributor, I haven't been successful posting links on this site for some reason. Here it is:

or the seller has a larger set of 6 pans that are 3 inches deep instead of 2 like the others. that link is

http://cgi.ebay.com/SQUARE-CAKE-PAN-SET-6-8-10-12-14-x-3-in-deep_W0QQitemZ4439249138QQcategoryZ25466QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I believe that set is $85

Good luck.
