2 1/2 to 3 cups strawberries
(if frozen, thaw first and drain well)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water

Anyone know what the yield would be on this, and about how much of the filling would I need per layer (just an estimated guess would be perfect!).

TIA,
Suz

I used a similar recipe last week and got enough to fill 3 layers. It seemed like enough for us..but I am soryr I can not tell you the exact amount. I filled a disposable 15" piping bag with it..maybe that will help determine. It was really very good and lasted a few days. I have heard the fillings will fresh strawberries spoil quickly.

Hope that helps, sorry I can't be more specific.

That will work!

Probably even better than a cup measurement. I like visuals!

Thanks!

When I made it, it stayed nice & fresh. No spoilage. Of course it didn't last that long. icon_surprised.gif
