Is color flow the same as thinned royal icing? Thanks!

welll...color flow has color flow poweder added to it...so it's not EXACTLY the same but it works the same way

Royal icing has a matte finish and color flow has a shiny one.

That is a good question!

They are pretty much the same. Color flow is a packaged mix by Wilton, and it does pretty much the same thing as regular royal icing. I think one is shinier than the other, but I've gotten very nice results with royal.
To me the Color Flow is a waste of money and cupboard space.
