Egg White Substitute

Can you subsitute merguine powder for egg whites and if so how much would you use. Anyone know??? I don't like the idea of raw egg whites in icing touching anything.

yes you can use meringue powder in place of egg whites. Look on the can there should be the equalivlants on there, or if you are using wilton's its usually on that paper that is tucked under the lid.

They also make a powdered egg white sold in the baking section. I use it for my IMBC.
