I bought 4 crueller donuts today for my monster Truck 3D cake on friday....I need to cover them with heated chocolate icing.For anyone who has worked in a bakery will the cruellers still be fresh for friday if I keep them in a brown bag inside a ziploc.Cruellers are the donuts made with egg whites and look like a treaded tire.I didn't feel like going out friday as I have 3 cakes due....

I used to work at a Williams Coffee Pub in Ontario, Canada, and honestly, we used to pitch ours daily. Sometimes I'd take them for my great-grandfather, but for the most part, they rarely stayed soft and fresh after a day and a half.

You could try and see how it goes, but maybe have someone pick some up for you just in case? (I miss donuts, there's barely a donut shop around here, just coffee!!! I need a Timmy's!!
